Mary McClellan is a candidate running for McHenry County Board District 3

Having been involved in McHenry County since 1989, I have long worked for a positive difference in District 3. My family and I now feel that the time has come for me to seek elected office. I want to bring fresh ideas and positive solutions to the McHenry County Board by running for one of the open seats in District 3.
I have always been very concerned about the community. I believe there are workable solutions available that will enhance fiscal responsibility. I would like to see success. We need to find ways to cut spending and stop our taxes from increasing.
To succeed in this effort, I need to mount an aggressive campaign.
It's for these reasons that I have decided offer the voters of District 3 a real choice in this election.
I have a strong belief in representing the people not my own interest. I have experience in small business budgets and multimillion dollar budgets. I have experience managing large groups of people and I am a successful leader. I believe in McHenry County as well as planned growth and development. All this can be accomplished through positive relationships with other agencies. In addition I am a strong believer in business growth for McHenry County to allow our community to grow and develop. Finally, I have a strong belief in preserving and maximizing natural community resources.
